Friends, rather than selling and shipping seeds, we now share seeds as an embodied gift practice. Learn how to receive seeds from us & here are our FAQs.
Rudbeckias are easy to grow native perennials with butterflies and countless beneficial pollinators abounding in their abundant blossoms! Prolific in gardens as well as raised beds and containers, rudbeckias thrive both in poor soil as well as drought. With long, strong stems perfect for cutting, each 3-foot plant blossoms mid-July reaching her peak by late August, remaining unrelentingly abundant well into autumn, especially if you harvest her flowers consistently. A tenacious perennial, your rudbeckia will slowly expand her diameter and blossom all the more with each year, easy to divide when you’re ready to share her with friends! At Fruition, we sow organic rudbeckia seeds in soil blocks indoors 4 weeks before final frost to transplant after final frost with one foot between plants.
