Friends, rather than selling and shipping seeds, we now share seeds as an embodied gift practice. Learn how to receive seeds from us & here are our FAQs.
Beans are easy to grow and there are so many fabulous varieties to cultivate! We love to grow bush beans and pole beans, classic string beans and sumptuously stringless French Filet/haricot vert beans to lusciously succulent Italian Flat/romano style beans, snap and shelling as well as delicious dry beans. And they're yellow, purple, green, and all stripes in between! Savor the incredible diversity of beans our ancestors have selected and saved for millennia. At Fruition, we direct sow beans once the soil is warm after the final frost has passed. Pole beans we simply sow once; bush beans we succession sow every 3 weeks until about three months before fall frost, often in mid-July here in Zone 5 to enjoy a consistent harvest 'til frost.
