Friends, rather than selling and shipping seeds, we now share seeds as an embodied gift practice. Learn how to receive seeds from us & here are our FAQs.
From sweet corn to flour and popcorn, corn is fun as well as challenging to grow in a home garden. Plant a minimum of 20 seeds sown in a block rather than a long row, allowing your ears to pollinate well. At Fruition Seeds, we sow corn seeds directly in the soil after final frost. Flour and popcorn we sow just once after final frost in early summer; sweet corn we sow every few weeks through mid-July for consistent harvests through frost. If you haven’t already, download Fruition’s 40-page ebook on starting seeds to set you up for success! Also, corn is a ‘heavy feeder,’ so be sure to feed your corn with nutrient-dense organic fertility as well as fish emulsion for an abundant harvest.
