Organic Leeks
Harvesting homegrown leeks is fabulously satisfying, their gorgeous blue-green leaves becoming sweet, tender stalks blanched white where they grew underground. At Fruition Seeds, we sow leeks in open trays indoors 2+ months before final frost, transplanting out just before final frost for a summer harvest. We sow successions of leeks each month through July for consistent harvests until winter settles in.
