Friends, rather than selling and shipping seeds, we now share seeds as an embodied gift practice. Learn how to receive seeds from us & here are our FAQs.
Potatoes are easy to grow in both soil and containers, each tuber often growing ten or more to surround you with abundance. Potatoes are delectably diverse with skin and flesh glowing cream, red, purple, bronze, gold & sometimes a combination of colors, brilliantly nutritious. We share exquisitely flavored fingerling potatoes as well as classic russets and everything in between! At Fruition, we sow potatoes from early May to early June, harvesting early July through frost.
There is a direct relationship between the quantity and quality of nutrients your potatoes receive and the quantity and quality of potatoes you harvest. Incorporating compost as well as well-balanced, organic slow-release fertilizer prior to planting is ideal & once potatoes are one foot tall, we foliar feed them with fish and kelp emulsion or compost tea every two weeks.
