Organic Scallions
Did you know scallions are perennial here in Zone 5? Also called bunching onions, these delectable leaves thrive in gardens, raised beds and containers as well as sun and partial shade. At Fruition, we sow in spring for summer scallions as well as late summer for a treat to enjoy in April as the snows melt. We start scallions indoors in soil blocks six weeks before final frost, transplanting out after final frost.
