Organic Watermelon
Lusciously ripe watermelon straight from the garden is one of the greatest pleasures of summer! Easy to grow, watermelon require quite a bit of space and fertility to thrive. Regional adaptation is key for watermelon seeds to surround you with abundance in short seasons. Fruition’s varieties are early maturing as well as delectable, beyond compare of any melon found in a store.
At Fruition Seeds, we sow melon seeds directly in the soil once frost has passed with at least 3 feet between plants. To help our watermelons thrive, we tuck floating row cover over hoops to protect from cucumber beetles until they flower, which is the best way to prevent bacterial wilt transmitted by the beetles.
