Saturday, December 7th noon to 4 pm | free | all are welcome
Join us sipping sweet cider & singing as we celebrate our thriving Community Orchard, as much yours as ours and here for all future generations. Bring your own mug and join us at noon for a farm tour and at 1 pm our Wassail Celebration begins! At 2 we’ll dig our nursery apple trees, sending them home as gifts with everyone ready to plant trees for the world to come. We’ll share more detail as the time draws closer.

What? You’re Gifting Trees? For Free?
Yes, and 💛
Yes! We have several hundred deliciously disease-resistant apple trees (the semi-dwarf varieties here, available to taste this weekend!) as well as chestnuts to share with you, our Beloved Community!
And, as many people have observed before us, the gift is not free.
As we all learn to give and receive trees rather than buy and sell them, let us affirm:
As you receive these trees, all we ask is that you receive them trusting that you are worthy, no matter what you’ve done or haven’t done, no matter what you’ll do or won’t do.
Trust that by simply receiving these seeds, you are amplifying the gift of life, their 400 million year old legacy.
As we step into sharing rather than selling trees and seeds, learning to uncouple our needs with our ‘perceived market value,’ we are committed to sharing our needs in clear, honest, creative and widely accessible ways.
