For several weeks, when I words fail my need to process, I pick up this clarinet. Ragtime is pure joy & mariachi intros never cease to make me smile, but increasingly playing ‘patriotic’ songs in minor keys is the balm that helps me heave my love for this country into my arms and muster to courage to move forward.
