Can you see it? Can you smell the tomato sauce, the pesto? Can you hear the singing?
For years we’ve dreamed of a community kitchen here on the farm and Friends, we’ve received a grant that will fund 1/3 of a new community kitchen and kinship space that includes a small bath and bunkhouse to surround us all with that much more capacity to nourish ourselves and each other for generations to come.
In spring, we’ll build where we shared our final Joy & Solidarity Supper of 2023:
Just imagine: For years we’ve welcomed people to the farm, inviting everyone to harvest tomatoes, squeeze out the seeds for Fruition to save and share, sending folx home with fresh organic tomato flesh to enjoy and preserve at home…
…and now we can make and can tomato sauce together as well as dry tomatoes and so much more, amplifying our collective capacity to be not only fed but so deeply nourished.
Our dear friend Jake Castor will begin construction in spring 2024 and can’t wait to share more of the unfurlings with you, Friends!
In the meantime, know you are why we do what we do & can’t wait to grow as well as celebrate with you ~
And Friends, there will be many other opportunities to co-create this space with us: from sourcing materials to building together to planting gardens surrounding to enjoying this new space, stay tuned and expect more soon.
Thank you to the Ontario County Board of Supervisors for saying yes to our dream!
Thank you to the dozens of people who wrote beautiful letters of recommendation for our application!
Thank you to all the people who will yet join us in myriad and marvelous ways, bring Fruition to fruition, making community a verb and our work such joy.
We do nothing alone and we so appreciate you, whoever you are & wherever you are!

Hi Fruition Seeds team! I am architect based in Brooklyn and Chicago and I would love to help you out. I sent Matthew an email on Friday as well hoping we can connect and get to know each other. This sounds like an incredible project for your community and I’d love to see if I can be a good fit for you.
