Friends, rather than selling and shipping seeds, we now share seeds as an embodied gift practice. Learn how to receive seeds from us & here are our FAQs.
Just 2.5 feet tall, Short Stuff is absolutely the most compact sunflower we’ve ever seen! Large 8-inch heads float above massive, heart-shaped leaves and Friends, if you’re looking for a cheerful border or a perfect sunflower for a container, look no further.
And did you know sunflower petals are edible? Just imagine your salads next summer!
We’re grateful for Merlyn and Mary Ann Niedens who selected Short Stuff in Illinois as well as countless generations of brilliant indigenous seedkeepers who have co-adapted with sunflowers on Turtle Island since time immemorial.

What delightful little sweeties. We direct sowed them in one of our raised beds in early June, they bloomed in early august for a little over a week, delighting us so many pollinators and then the goldfinches got to delight in their tasty seeds.
