One of Fruition’s shortest sunflowers, often just 3 feet tall! Each bloom is about 4 inches wide rich gold petals and dark centers. Sonja is ideal for cutting, selected for 8 or more strong side-branches on each plant and a long vase-life. Sonja will also thrive in containers as well as small spaces in your garden.

When to sow (Direct Seed recommended): After final frost, sow 2 seeds every 18-24 inches and thin to one. For transplanting, sow indoors 2-3 weeks before last frost; harden off 5 days and transplant after final frost.

Full Sun Days to Germination: 7-10 days at 70-75F
Plant spacing after thinning: 18-24 inches.
Days to Flower: 85 Height: 3 feet
Harvest: Harvest blooms for continued flowering.
