Oh! Teddy Bear is such a darling sunflower! Thriving in gardens and raised beds as well as containers, Teddy Bear’s endearing blooms are often 4-7″ wide on long, strong stems perfect for cutting. With minimal pollen, Teddy Bear is also popular with flower farmers. And did you know sunflowers are edible? Just imagine your salads next summer!
Like all sunflowers, Teddy Bear’s height reflects the fertility she has access to, so expect taller stalks and more blooms with greater fertility. In the garden, she’s often between 3 and 4 feet tall.
