HEIRLOOM Exquisitely fragrant and easy to grow, Painted Lady loves to climb 5+ feet, surrounding you with nostalgic abundance of rose, salmon, cream & fleeting plum blossoms from early July to late September. For optimum vase life, harvest stems with at least 2 unopened blossoms. The more sun she receives, the more flowers she sends.
When to sow (Direct Sow only): 6 weeks before last frost.
Sowing and seedling care: Sow after presoaking seeds 24 hours in room temp. water for best germination, gently nicking the seed coat of those that don’t swell. Sow 2-3 seeds 6″ apart, fantastic for sowing near a fence to climb or trellising. Keep soil moist til emergence. Thin to strongest single plant once true leaves emerge.
