Fruition’s Compost

Feeding the soil is the foundation that feeds us all!
Compost adds abundant organic matter as well as a wide spectrum of micro-nutrients to nourish your soil as well as your plants.
Fruition’s compost is made in the Finger Lakes, right over the hill by our dear friend Jonathan Hunt, just over the hill from us on the edge of Keuka Lake in Branchport & he’s been making compost since his early teens, when he saw his family’s pear tree transform with the compost pile nearby. Decades of experience later, he’s founded Greener Pastures Composting, committed to creating well-balanced compost to enhance soil and plant productivity, while reducing the flow of compostable waste going into landfills, returning carbon to the soil “where it belongs,” as we love to hear Jonathan say. His compost shares an N-P-K of 3-1-3 plus an abundance of micronutrients to feed both your soil and your plants.
And Friends it’s important to realize that compost is a soil conditioner rather than a fertilizer. Yes, there are nutrients, but think of compost as your long-term investment in soil health while fertilizers like our organic granular and chicken compost crumbles are immediately available for your growing plants. Both are crucial for healthy, thriving soils and beautiful, abundant gardens!
