As beautiful as she is abundant, Dwarf Blue Vates Kale is impressively compact making her ideal for containers, raised beds and small gardens, though we still grow her in our many-acre gardens, as well! Vates is very cold hardy and tender enough as baby greens raw. Even after months of cold, her leaves stay green and plentiful to harvest, especially with hoops and floating row cover to protect her.
