I LOVE Gentilina Lettuce! I’ve grown a number of bolt-resistant lettuces over the years that, um, bolted. But during the heat of summer at 7200′ elevation west of Boulder, CO, with 85-90 degree temps and blasting summer sun, this lettuce neither bolted nor tip-burned. As I harvested whole lettuce heads, the others in the patch grew really large to fill the space, and STILL didn’t bolt, staying sweet and crunchy. I finally relented and harvested the last half-dozen heads, and they kept in the fridge for weeks as we ate enormous salads each day. Highly recommend this variety 🙂
