Dazzling, indeed! For years folx have rhapsodized about Violet Sparkle pepper and, when we finally grew them, we only wished we had grown them sooner! Thriving in short, cool seasons, Violet Sparkle is a compact plant cascading four-inch chartreuse fruits that blush burgundy lavender & ripen to red, sweet as can be. The kaleidoscope doesn’t stop from midsummer to frost with thick, succulent flesh fabulous in salads, sauteed, on the grill and pickled as well as stuffed. We snack on them straight in the garden all the time, too!

Excellent sweet pepper. It grew well in my zone 4a garden. Thick flesh with outstanding flavor both for fresh eating and cooking.

They are so striking. Potted them up from seedlings into 12” pots. Just ate the first pepper with a touch of salt. It was nice and crunchy, not sweet like a red pepper yet not at all bitter. It has its own good flavor. Would definitely plant again.

These were amazing!!! I wish I had planted more! The absolute best pepper ever when roasted…so sweet and thick and wonderful! That is, if they even made it into kitchen…so many were devoured along the path from garden to kitchen. Even my kids that claimed to not like peppers were won over by these!

This pepper was a joy to grow and eat! Planted a Fruition Garden Store transplant memorial day weekend (zone 5) in a new raised bed that was a bit lacking in sun. Crunchy beautiful red with purple fruit Aug and Sept and no sign of disease even toward the beginning of Fall.
